Kindred Stafford Nursery and Pre-School is a welcoming, home-from-home nursery with a wonderful family feel. Our long-standing team get to know every child personally, creating a nurturing environment where little ones feel safe, happy and confident. Our cosy baby room welcomes just six children, helping us build close relationships from the very beginning, while our experienced team are passionate about supporting every child's individual needs.
Our nursery has two lovely gardens, with a dedicated space for younger children at the back and a front garden for our older explorers. From sand and water play to climbing, gardening, imaginative adventures and getting muddy in our mud kitchen, there's always something exciting to discover.
Conveniently located close to Stafford town centre, we love being part of our local community. Our children regularly visit the church and care home just across the road, enjoying activities such as baking, colouring and crafts alongside residents, creating wonderful opportunities to build friendships across generations.

A little about me...
I like playing fun games with the children indoors and outdoors, especially running and chasing games. I love keeping fit through running and going to the gym. I also love Christmas, especially snow and enjoy talking and going camping.
What is one of the most important things you should know about us? That’s easy: our fabulous team! Pure and simple. With many of our team having been part of Kindred Stafford for years, it’s their close-knit relationships, wealth of experience and genuine passion for childcare that create our wonderful home-from-home feel. In fact, our family connections are so strong that generations of families have returned to us, often welcomed by the very same familiar faces!
Dedicated to being the best that a family could ask for, our team are constantly developing themselves through our training programme run by childcare and EYFS experts. Day in the Life

Drop Off
Our doors open from 07:30, where you and your little one will be greeted by a member of our friendly team who will strive to ensure that the transition from home to nursery is a smooth and happy one. Wave ‘see you soon!’ to your child in the knowledge that they will be safe, well cared for and having endless amounts of fun as they settle in for the day ahead.
Breakfast
Our children start their day off correctly with a healthy range of options to choose from, such as cereals, fruit and toast for breakfast. For weaning babies at all mealtimes, a specially curated weaning menu is prepared by our trained chef and can be mashed, chopped or pureed depending on your child's individual needs.
Morning
Fuelled with a yummy breakfast, our little explorers enjoy a morning filled with exciting opportunities for learning and discovery. We come together for music and movement, singing and storytime before enjoying a wonderful mix of creative activities, imaginative play and hands-on experiences. Our youngest children have opportunities for tummy time and sensory exploration, while our older children enjoy group activities that encourage curiosity, confidence and independence. There's also plenty of time for outdoor adventures in our gardens, with a healthy morning snack served from 10:00 to keep everyone energised for the exciting day ahead.
Lunch
From 11:30, our children come together to enjoy lunch, freshly prepared by our on-site chef. Mealtimes provide a wonderful opportunity to socialise with friends, develop independence and explore a variety of flavours and textures. Our team create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, supporting individual dietary requirements and encouraging children to discover new tastes at their own pace.
Nap Time
Following lunch, our younger children can enjoy a well-earned nap or quiet time. For our little sleepers, we create a calm and comforting atmosphere using soft lighting, soothing music and cosy bedding to support rest and relaxation. Children who are not sleeping can enjoy quiet indoor activities, stories and gentle play, helping to create a peaceful transition into the afternoon.
Afternoon
The afternoon brings even more opportunities for awe and wonder as children continue their learning journey through a balance of indoor and outdoor experiences. From getting creative with sand and water play, construction activities and imaginative role play to exploring our mud kitchen, gardening and enjoying active play, every afternoon offers something exciting. Our two gardens provide dedicated spaces for younger and older children, while our puddle suits mean that even a little rain won't stop the fun!
Snack
At 14:00, our little explorers enjoy a healthy afternoon snack to keep them fuelled for the rest of their busy day. From 16:00, children come together for their evening meal, enjoying another opportunity to develop their independence and share conversations with friends. Afterwards, they can settle into a relaxed period of child-led play, choosing their favourite activities and enjoying some quieter moments before heading home
Home
As the day draws to a close, children enjoy relaxed play with their friends before being collected throughout the evening. Families are kept up to date through Satchel during the day, and at collection time your child's key person will share highlights of their learning, achievements and wellbeing, along with any important information. Nursery closes at 18:00, when we wave our final goodbyes and wish everyone a safe journey home.

We believe that providing children with rich and varied learning opportunities from an early age supports their overall development and helps them to thrive. Each week, children will enjoy a thoughtfully planned programme of enrichment activities designed to enhance their nursery experience, spark curiosity, nurture a love of learning and create memorable moments. These additional experiences encourage creativity, support holistic development and provide wonderful learning opportunities that broaden children’s experiences and help them discover more about the world around them.
