We are incredibly passionate about outdoor play at Headstart Day Nursery and Pre-School Market Deeping, aiming to get our children outside and exploring as much as possible. Our setting features a large garden filled with wonderful amenities, alongside separate outdoor areas for each of our rooms. This thoughtful design ensures everyone can play, discover, and learn at their own pace in a space perfectly suited to their age group.
Our outdoor environment also includes our very own dedicated planting area where the children grow their own fresh fruit and veg, teaching them all about healthy eating and sustainability.

We make sure our children get outside as much as possible. We embrace the outdoors in all weather conditions, as long as it is safe to do so.
What are the parking and access arrangements for drop-off and pick-up?
We have a private car park available to make your daily drop-offs and pick-ups simple and convenient.
What links do you have with local schools to prepare my child for the next step?
We maintain strong connections with local schools to ensure a smooth transition. Teachers sometimes visit our nursery to meet the children, and we also request transition books filled with pictures of the school and their future teachers for the children to look through. Within our classrooms, we set up areas with school uniforms and book bags for dress-up play, which helps us talk openly about what to expect. We also identify children heading to the same school and encourage them to play together so they have a familiar friend when they start. For children with additional needs, a member of our team accompanies them to their school for taster sessions to provide extra support.
