  • We offer exceptional childcare and early years education to children aged from 3 months up to 5 years.
  • Kindred Hauxton is located in the heart of Hauxton in a purpose built facility with its own private car park.
  • We are open from 8:00am to 6:00pm with an early start available from 7:00 am. 
  • We have impressively large outdoor spaces, mud kitchens, vegetable patches and more - it is our nursery's pride and joy!

We are located in Hauxton, around a 12-20 minute drive to Addenbrooke's Hospital.

We are close to other Cambridgeshire villages such as Great Shelford, Little Shelford and Harston.

We have ample onsite parking available.

    The whole team are hugely responsive and caring to the individual needs of each child, and has been fantastic with communication. The staff will happily message us as parents if we have any concerns (e.g. to reassure that my son is ok after a teary drop off) and the app is fantastic for keeping me up to date with what my son has been doing, seeing some photos etc.
    My son has done plenty of outside play and messy play and generally had fun since he joined - we are really happy with the nursery."

That’s easy: our incredible staff! Pure and simple. They are the heart of our family and what makes us unique. Our inspiring and passionate staff are the reason we have been voted the Top Nursery Group in the UK 2022 twice and hold the coveted ‘Top 20 Nursery Group 2024’ award and Nursery World Awards.

Dedicated to being the best that a family could ask for, our nursery staff are constantly developing themselves through our training programme run by childcare and EYFS experts. It is not just our little ones who are the passionate lifelong learners here at Kindred!

 

Sharon Parnell
Nursery Manager

Hi, my name is Sharon. I have 30 of experience working in Early Years. 

I am a qualified Level 5 in Early Years Management and have also completed my Level 3 in Forest School training. I have a deep understanding of early childhood development and education that is required to lead a successful team. AS a nursery manager I utilise my knowledge and experience to create an enriching and nurturing environment that caters to the unique needs of each child. 

I am passionate about fostering a positive learning environment and take a personalised approach to understand and appreciate the distinct personalities of the children in our care so I can ensure that every child receives tailored support and encouragement. 

When not in the nursery, I am a busy mum who enjoys time with my husband and twin girls adventuring and making special memories. I am also a keen baker, love gardening and love being out in nature. 

Georgia White
Deputy Manager

Hello, I'm Georgia, the Deputy Nursery Manager at Kindred Hauxton. 

I began my journey in childcare back in 2018 after transitioning from a career in Adult Care. My previous experience ignited my passion for helping children reach their full potential. and I'm thrilled to bring that enthusiasm to early years education. 

I firmly believe in nurturing young children's mental wellbeing to give them the best start in life, which motivated me to achieve my Level 2 qualification in Children's and Young People's Mental Health. You will often see me participating in lively dance sessions or getting hands-on with messy play activities alongside the children. 

Alongside being the deputy manager, I am also the setting's SENCO, ENCO and DSL.
