"I love being the manager of our Preschool as it has a nice family home from home feel to it. We strive to create happy, fun and caring environments for children to flourish in. We love to create the awe in wonder in activities based around the children’s interest, so they feel like they are just playing when really, they are learning life skills and knowledge. We love the outdoors and spend a lot of the day in the garden as well as the children enjoying forest school. The outdoors is a real passion of mine as I believe all children should experience outdoor play and connecting with nature and the natural world around them. I am so lucky to be surrounded by lovely children and their families and proud of the team that I work with who build wonderful bonds and relationships with the children within our setting. I also feel so lucky to work for Kindred. As a manager I am well supported by a whole range of departments but particularly enjoy the support I get from my area manager. She is always on hand to help support me and navigate me through new situations that may arise. I love the awe and wonder element and the pedagogy that kindred believe in. Children are naturally imaginative and curious - it’s truly magical to witness how much they absorb from their surroundings. I also enjoy working for a company which encourages personal and professional growth. They are always willing to support you by booking you on training and furthering your career by completing further levels of childcare"
