Set in the exceptional Moor End Farm grounds, our nursery building is a beautifully converted barn.
We are open from 8:00am to 6:00pm.
We offer exceptional childcare and early years education to children aged from 3 months up to 5 years.
A 3-minute drive from Hemel train station.

Beautiful secure gardens with fantastic resources to support child development.
Highly qualified and experienced team.
We have ample parking at our nursery, along with a good sized buggy store where you can leave your pushchairs.
Home-cooked, nutritious meals cooked onsite.

"We moved our 16-month-old daughter to Kindred in Hemel Hempstead from another, bigger nursery in another area in November of this year and could not be happier with the move. It's only been a couple of months but it's been the best decision. We were not very happy with the previous nursery and there was a fear that they are all the same, but this move has proved that wrong!
The manager is always there for anything you need, she is passionate about the nursery, knows all the children and all the parents. The whole feel of the place is different to most nurseries I've seen - it's got a great family feel and everyone is close-knit, even the parents seem to know each other well. My daughter settled super quickly and it feels like she's at home there.
One member of the learning lane staff is brilliant and you can tell she has a great relationship with all the kids. I trust her with everything. My daughter adores her. Another member of the learning lane staff is also lovely. Highly, highly recommend this place! Super grateful for it!

That’s easy: our incredible staff! Pure and simple. They are the heart of our family and what makes us unique. Our inspiring and passionate staff are the reason we have been voted the Top Nursery Group in the UK 2022 twice and hold the coveted ‘Top 20 Nursery Group 2023’ award.

Dedicated to being the best that a family could ask for, our nursery staff are constantly developing themselves through our training programme run by childcare and EYFS experts. It is not just our little ones who are the passionate lifelong learners here at Kindred!

Hello, I'm the Manager at Kindred Hemel Hempstead.

I have been working in Early Years for 40 years. I achieved my goal of Nursery Manager in 1998 and have been manager at Kindred Hemel Hempstead for 22 years, where my career has evolved immensely. This has enabled me to ensure all children in our care are able to thrive, show curiosity and independence whilst learning in a fun, caring and secure environment.

Having joined the nursery back in 2010 and completing my NVQ Level 3 as an apprentice, I have aspired to become Management and achieved this in 2022.

I have an unwavering commitment to early childhood development to ensure we give the children the best start. We take pride in our outdoor provisions, that really enhance communication, emotional and physical skills.
