The majority of our team are qualified to Level 3 or above, ensuring high-quality, professional support for your child's development.

Our children enjoy regular visits out in the local area, helping them build confidence and a meaningful connection to the world around them. To share nursery life at home, our unique cooking box scheme sends recipes and ingredients for families to enjoy cooking together.

We're proud to hold the Gold Standard First Aid Accreditation from Millie's Mark and an Oral Health award, reflecting our strong commitment to our children's safety, health, and wellbeing.

Age Range: We offer care for children from 3 Months up to 5 Years.
Opening Hours: We are open 07:30 - 18:00, 51 weeks of the year.
Ofsted Rating: We are proud to have been rated Outstanding by Ofsted at their last visit on 19th October 2022.
Location: We are located in Eaton Socon, St Neots.

Government Funding: We accept all government funding including 30 free hours. Please speak to staff for eligibility details.
Enrichment Activities: Mindfulness Monday, Hartbeeps, Cooking with Celia, Mini Athletics and Boogimites.
Food Provisions: Fresh meals from our accredited menu prepared daily by our on-site chef.

"Both of my children have attended this nursery (11 year old girl and 4 year old boy) the youngest of which has just started school. They still talk about how much they miss their time and the staff there. We always felt it was such a safe and educational space for the children, the things they have learned and the social skills they have picked up have been invaluable in making them who they are today. The staff always went out of their way to cater for each of the children's needs and to organise events, trips and visits from the local firemen, animal experts (along with the various animals) etc. The food is also of a very high standard, we've often had some brought home to us and we have even stolen the fish pie recipe for ourselves! I genuinely couldn't recommend Kindred St Neots Nursery and Pre-school enough!"

"Our little girl is thriving at Kindred St Neots Nursery and Pre-school and I could honestly write forever about how wonderful all the staff are. They make you feel like part of the family and truly care about the children, always looking for ways to enhance what they do. They take time to get to know the children and do what they can to personalise their experiences when in their care. In addition, they go above and beyond to help! Not long after starting, we had concerns about our daughter's development (nothing to do with the nursery!) and arranged a meeting with the team, I can honestly say they were incredible, ensuring she got the support she needed. Not only that, but they continued to help even after the initial meeting and provided us with both the practical, and emotional, support we needed! Meet Our Kindred St Neots Nursery Staff

Sarah Searle
Nursery Manager

Hi, I am Sarah. I started my career in childcare over 26 years ago (1997/98) with a NNEB qualification and I now have a Level 4.

I progressed in my career to Manager and have been in this position now for over 20 years. Having worked with children of all ages I have a comprehensive understanding of both them and their parents' individual needs.

I love that we help children to learn new things and give them the skills they need to progress to school. I find it rewarding to help develop and support all the children, their families, and our staff throughout their time here at Kindred St Neots. We are one big family.

Caroline Kelleher
Deputy Nursery Manager

Hello, I'm Caroline and I have worked in Early Years since 2014.

I started my journey as an apprentice and became a Level 3 practitioner. Having progressed in my career I became the Deputy Manager and held this role since 2017.

My passion lies within SEN and supporting every child and family. The mental health of the staff, children and families is very important to me, and I am continuously finding ways to support everyone in this area as a Mental Health First Aider.

Kindred St Neots Nursery and Pre-School FAQs

Our nursery is characterised by a strong, home-from-home feel driven by an exceptionally longstanding and qualified staff team. Parents are often surprised to learn that the majority of our educators have been with us for over 10 years, with our Manager, Sarah serving for 20 years. This stability provides a very welcoming and secure environment where nothing is too much trouble. We foster strong family connections by hosting numerous events, including a popular Grandparents' Day.

We actively engage in the local community through educational and festive activities:

Church and Festive Celebrations: We frequently visit the local church, including hosting an annual Christmas carol concert there.

Community Trips: Our children enjoy trips to the library, the local market, and soft play centres.

Partnership Events: We participate in sports day events hosted at local schools.

We maintain key relationships with local schools to support parents through the transition process. We invite schools to our Parents' Evenings, held twice a year (in April and November). These specific timings are chosen to align with the crucial period around the application process for school, allowing parents to gather information and address questions directly with school representatives.

Our settling-in process begins up to two weeks prior to the child's start date. We maintain a flexible approach and will change the session structure and length to fit the unique emotional needs of each individual child, ensuring a confident and smooth transition.
