Kindred London Colney Nursery and Pre-School FAQs
How often do the children play outside?
Our children are outside daily. Fresh air and physical activity are key parts of our schedule regardless of the season.
What is the unique feel or ethos of your nursery team?
We pride ourselves on being a home from home. Joining our nursery means joining our family. We want the transition from your home to ours to feel as natural as possible from your very first viewing.
How do you build relationships with parents?
We host plenty of events throughout the year to stay connected with our families. These include Christmas carols, graduation parties, and seasonal stay and play sessions. We also enjoy getting everyone together for community events like our Macmillan coffee mornings.
How do your settling in sessions work?
We typically offer three sessions to help your child feel at ease. The first session lasts one hour with parents there to go over paperwork and talk about routines, likes, and allergies. A one-hour session follows where the child stays on their own, ending with a final two-hour session.
What are the parking and access arrangements for drop off and pick up?
Our parents use a one way system that leads to the back of the building where there is space to park and drop off your child safely.
