What makes Kindred Teddington unique?
At Kindred Teddington, we've created a close-knit nursery with a home-from-home feel, perfect for families looking for more personal care.
Tucked away in a quiet location with a beautiful green space just opposite, our peaceful setting helps our children feel safe, settled, and free to explore.
Our nursery offers dedicated free-flow outdoor spaces for each room, allowing children to move between indoors and outdoors throughout the day. Our older children can enjoy sensory-rich play in the sandpit or learn all about nature in our planting area, whilst our sheltered baby garden provides a safe space for our youngest learners to explore the outdoors.
For commuting families, our nursery is conveniently located just a short walk from Teddington Station. We also have free parking spaces available for our parents who'd rather leave their car and travel into central London on public transport instead.

Meet Our Kindred Teddington Nursery Staff
Louise Morley
Nursery Manager
I have worked with children since 2015 when I started as an apprentice completing my Level 3 Diploma in Childcare.
I started my journey at Kindred Teddington in 2019 whilst working as bank staff and have since worked my way up to Nursery Manager in 2023. Kindred have given me the best opportunities to grow and develop within my career which I am so thankful for.
I have a 12 year old stepdaughter with special educational needs which has given me a passion to ensure all children have the best opportunities to learn and develop to their individual best abilities.
Amy McCann
Deputy Nursery Manager
Hi, I'm Amy. I have been a part of the Kindred Teddington family since 2021.
In 2023, I completed my Level 3 Qualification and soon after, stepped into my role as Deputy Manager.
Childcare has always been a real passion, and I love being able to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.
Kindred Teddington Nursery and Pre-School FAQs
How often do the children get to play outside at the nursery, and what outdoor facilities do you have?
Our children have free-flow access to our outdoor spaces all day. We have dedicated gardens for each of our rooms. Our baby garden features a sheltered area for safe play in all weathers.
Do you take the children out into the local community on trips?
Yes, we believe in enriching children's experiences by actively exploring our local community and try and take them out as often as possible. Additionally, we actively participate in the local village fair every year, strengthening our community links.
What are the designated parking and access arrangements for drop-off and pick-up?
We have limited parking available on our driveway for quick access. There is also ample free parking available on the street outside the nursery.
How does your nursery build strong relationships with parents?
We strive to build strong family relationships by inviting parents in as often as we can for fun and engaging events. We host seasonal and special celebrations, usually twice per term, including:
A week-long Christmas celebration with events like card workshops.
Seasonal parties that welcome parents and siblings.
Special events for Mother's Day and Father's Day.
How do your settling in sessions work?
We follow a structured three-day approach to settling in, which is designed to be gradual and supportive:
Day 1 (1 hour): The parent stays with the child for the full hour while we complete paperwork and the 'All About Me' book.
Day 2 (1 hour): The parent drops off the child for an hour, allowing them to practice separation and start forming bonds with staff.
Day 3 (3 hours): The child stays for an extended three-hour session to experience a significant part of the daily routine.
This process is always flexible; if needed, we can customise and extend the sessions for longer to meet the unique needs of your child.
