  • "My daughter has been at Kindred Mayflower since she was 9 months old. Her growth and development has been second to none. The staff are amazing and my daughter loves going to nursery, she doesn’t even look back when I drop her off which is such a great feeling - thank you to everyone at Mayflower for all the hard work you put in!"

  • "Both my children, ages 2 and 3, have been going to Kindred Mayflower Nursery & Pre-school since September 2022. From the moment my children started with the nursery I saw how happy and engaged they were with all the teachers and the other children. Each member of staff knows each child’s name and always has the most warming presence, even in the early mornings! Never have I encountered a school or nursery that feels like a second home to us all. My children have come on leaps and bounds since attending. They have helped my oldest child potty train and work on his manners to be a bright and happy child. My children's faces light up when walking into nursery to see their teachers and friends. The staff, to me and my partner, have always been helpful and encouraging of the new learning and developments in my children’s life and are always there when we have questions. We are so glad to have our children attend Mayflower Nursery. A big thank you to all the staff for everything you do for my little family."

  • "My children have attended this nursery for 2 months now and they absolutely love it. All the staff in the baby room are fantastic and my boys love seeing them every week. They are friendly, approachable and extremely caring. They enjoy all weathers outside, arts and crafts and making new friends. I am so pleased we chose this nursery for our babies."

  • "Kindred Mayflower has been great with my daughter and her settling. She took a while to settle but the staff were always fantastic at comforting her and ensuring she settled. She now goes in and waves bye in the mornings and I pick her up and she’s happy and playing. The staff are always happy to answer any questions and nothing is ever too much. They are wonderful and my daughter has such a great bond with the teachers. Can’t thank Mayflower enough for the fun she has and the care she’s given. Her key person has been wonderful and I also can’t thank her enough for the care she’s given my daughter and reassurance when she first started. Thank you all."

Meet Our Kindred Mayflower Nursery Staff

After our passion, what is the next most important thing you should know about us?

That’s easy: our incredible staff! Pure and simple. They are the heart of our family and what makes us unique. Our inspiring and passionate staff are the reason we hold the coveted ‘Top 20 Nursery Group 2024’ award and, year after year, are recognised in the prestigious NMT Nursery Awards and Nursery World Awards.

Rosie Littmoden
Nursery Manager

I have worked within the Kindred Group since April 2014, where I started as a nursery practitioner and have worked my way up to manager of our Kindred Billericay setting.

I hold a Level 3 in Childcare, Level 5 in Early Years Lead Practitioner, Level 2 in Team Building and my Level 3 certificate for SENCO, all of which have been completed under the guidance of Kindred.

I have a passion for children's development and providing them the best learning outcomes, both at nursery and at home.

Emma Choat-Howard
Deputy Nursery Manager

Hi, I am Emma. I have worked in childcare since 2004. I started as a nursery practitioner and progressed to deputy nursery manager. I completed my Level 3 in college and have continued my professional development over the past couple of decades. I hold a Level 1 and 2 in British Sign Language, and I am currently working towards my Level 3 SENCO qualification. I hope to complete my Level 5 in Childcare in the future.

I am passionate about working with children and helping them all to reach their full potential. I feel all children deserve the care and attention to feel safe, secure and happy. I am very inclusive within my practice, and I am passionate about being able to communicate on several levels hence why I worked independently towards my BSL qualifications. Thus, in turn means I am passionate about building relationships with the children and their parents/carers to endure that not only the children safe and secure, but the parents do too. I love to share our nursery with new families and want the nursery to be a happy and fun place for our children to learn and develop their own personalities.

Chance Jakobsen
Deputy Nursery Manager

Hello, my name is Chance.
