Parent Reviews

  • "My daughters have been attending this setting since they were two and have been very happy here. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Two particular members of staff have been a constant source of stability and are firm favourites."

  • "My child has been attending Kindred Orpington (Babies Room) since September 2023 and is very happy there. The nursery has a large outdoor space with lots of activities, which was an important factor for us in choosing it. The children do plenty of organised developmental play as well as free play. Immediately after Kindred took over running the nursery the staff were in a state of flux, with quite a few agency workers, but this has now resolved. The staff who have been recruited are kind & on the ball."

  • "In early 2023, Kindred took over this nursery, after the transition they hired a new nursery manager to manage and lead the nursery, working together with a long-serving staff member (deputy manager who everyone loves). Their dedication to making sure the children have a safe and friendly environment, whilst adjusting and aligning to new ownership values and ways is admirable. The staff in the preschool room are amazing at helping the children learn and gain their trust in a fun environment. Three other staff members are great at ensuring babies and toddlers have an organised calmness, working together across rooms to suit the children's needs. This is so important at such a developmental age for our children. Through the teamwork illustrated in recent months, the ladies are really building out a fun safe environment for the children to thrive at such an impressionable stage in their lives. Well done ladies."

That’s easy: our incredible staff! Pure and simple. Dedicated to being the best that a family could ask for, our nursery staff are constantly developing themselves through our training programme run by childcare and EYFS experts. It is not just our little ones who are the passionate lifelong learners here at Kindred!

Georgina Artis
Nursery Manager

I have been working in Early Years for 20 years now and this has always been in a nursery environment.

I started at Kindred Bromley North in 2022 and progressed from practitioner to Deputy Nursery Manager. I  progressed further and moved nurseries in October 2023 as the Manager here at Kindred Orpington.

Childcare is a vocation for me where I can inspire and help children to achieve their dreams. My belief fits perfectly with the Kindred mission statement of encouraging interests, exploration, and passions to support children in everything they do.

Sophie Williams
Deputy Manager

Hello, my name is Sophie and I have been working in childcare since 2018. I started my career as a nursery practitioner but have progressed with my love for the sector and am now the deputy manager here at Kindred Orpington.

I have always had a passion for working with children and helping them to grow and develop is the most rewarding thing.
