Kindred Hainault Nursery and Pre-School is a warm and welcoming setting. Home to a diverse range of backgrounds - our staff and children speak many different languages and we love to celebrate a wide variety of cultural holidays, helping every child feel a sense of belonging.
We welcome children from birth giving you the flexibility and peace of mind to return to work earlier, knowing your little one is in safe and caring hands.
Each room has its very own garden with free-flow access, so our children can easily explore the outdoors. We believe in the importance of outdoor play in all weather conditions, except for the most extreme, ensuring every child gets plenty of outdoor exploration, fun, and learning throughout the day.
Join us at Kindred Hainault Nursery and Pre-School for our Open Day on Saturday 11th October from 09:30 - 14:30.
On your visit, you'll meet our team, explore our spaces, and see the expert care we give every child, every day.

I have worked for the company for over 17 years. In that time, I have managed 5 of our nurseries and have a passion for the continuous professional development of our team, both here at Kindred Hainault and for rest of the Kindred group.

Mia is our Nursery Manager here at Kindred Hainault.
I have worked in childcare since 2015. It is my passion, and I want to help each child thrive in every way possible.
I am enthusiastic about working with children and ensuring awe and wonder is part of their time with us at nursery. I also love to be a role model to those I work with.
At Kindred Nurseries, the safety and well-being of our children, teams and families are our highest priorities. Safeguarding is woven into every aspect of our operations. We are dedicated to creating a safe, supportive and nurturing environment where children, staff and families can thrive. Read more about our commitment to safety and wellbeing.
We offer convenient and accessible parking options to make drop-off and pick-up as easy as possible for all families. You can use the on-street parking available directly outside the nursery, which does not require a permit. Additionally, we have our own private car park, which is shared with the neighbouring youth center, providing ample space for everyone during drop-off and pick-up times.
We maintain strong relationships with local schools to ensure a smooth and confident transition for every child. At the end of the summer term, we hold transition meetings with receiving schools to share key information and ensure a seamless handover. We work in close partnership with the Local Authority to coordinate and support the entire transition process, making sure it's as successful as possible for all children.
We are committed to providing the highest standard of care and attention for every child. Our staff-to-child ratios strictly adhere to all UK regulations to ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
Our ratios are as follows:
Babies (Under 2 years): 1 staff member to every 3 children (1:3)
Toddlers (2-3 years): 1 staff member to every 5 children (1:5)
Preschoolers (3-4 years): 1 staff member to every 8 children (1:8)
This commitment to regulated ratios guarantees that each child receives the individual support and guidance they need to thrive.
Our settling-in process is designed to be a gradual and positive experience, allowing your child to build confidence and form a bond with their new keyworker. We offer a structured series of three sessions to ensure a smooth transition:
Session 1 (1 hour): You and your child will attend together. This is a crucial time for sharing important information about your child, such as allergies and parental preferences, while they begin to get comfortable in the new environment.
Session 2 (1 hour): This is the first drop-off session. You will leave your child for an hour, allowing them to practice separation and begin building their relationship with their keyworker and other children.
Session 3 (2 hours): This extended session allows your child to stay for a longer period, typically over a snack time. It's an opportunity for them to experience more of the nursery routine and for our team to truly get to know your child and your family.
If a child requires more sessions than the typical three, we are more than happy to accommodate this.
Yes, we are proud to have a strong partnership with the local Hainault Children's Centre located right next door to our nursery. This close collaboration allows us to provide enhanced support and resources to our families.
We work together to:
Provide Resources: Families can access their baby bank and food bank through us, ensuring they get the resources they need.
Offer Specialized Sessions: The Children's Centre team runs various programs, including sensory classes, that benefit our children. They often come to us to deliver these sessions and we can refer parents to them for additional support.
Mutual Referrals: We have a trusted relationship where they send families to our nursery, and we can easily pass families over to them for access to more specialized resources or support.
