Warm Welcome
From the moment you step through the door, you will be greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere that makes a Kindred Nursery. Our incredible, highly qualified management team are on hand to welcome you, and they will be able to help answer any questions you may have. Whether it is about our settling in process, our nutritionally accredited homecooked food or government funding options to help with childcare costs.
One-to-one Tour
You will then embark on a guided tour through our thoughtfully designed learning spaces, tailored to cater to the unique needs of young and inquisitive minds. During this personalised tour, we will talk you through our ethos, show you how we inspire our children to be curious learners and help you to experience how we spark their imaginations. You will have the opportunity to explore our vibrant environments, our stimulating play areas and find out about the award-winning experiences and activities we plan each day, all to help you get a feel of what it is like at our nursery. From our home-from-home baby rooms to our inspiring pre-schools, you can discover how we fill our children’s days full of awe and wonder to help them to grow and thrive.
Meet the Practitioners
Engage in one-on-one conversations with our passionate Early Years Practitioners who play a pivotal role in shaping the learning journey of each and every child. Learn about how they implement our pedagogy, and how they create a supportive environment that encourages exploration and growth.
Enriching Activities
Immerse yourself in hands-on activities that showcase the dynamic curriculum at a Kindred nursery. From calming sensory play, to interactive storytelling, to imaginative loose parts exploration, get a taste of the exciting and educational experiences that await your child.
Community Building
Connect with other parents and families who share a common interest in providing the best for their children. At a Kindred nursery Open Day, you will get to meet some of our current families, as well as other prospective families, meaning that these events often serve as a platform for building a supportive community, where parents can exchange experiences and forge friendships.
Our Open Days are not just an opportunity to choose a nursery for your child; they are an invitation to witness the magic of early childhood education. They're a chance to explore, connect, and envision the future your child could have in this nurturing environment.
Our next Open Day will be on Saturday 22nd June, 09:30-14:30— We can’t wait for you to join us!
FAQ
Can I bring my little one?
Of course! In fact, we encourage you to bring your child along to our Open Day— it’s all about them, after all! It’s a great way for them to explore the environment and get comfortable with the surroundings. They will have an opportunity to meet and engage with our caring, friendly practitioners, get stuck into enriching activities and even make some friends along the way.
How about bringing family members/friends along?
Absolutely, the more the merrier!
How long will my tour last?
1:1 tours tend to last around half an hour, however this can differ depending on the questions you have and the size of the nursery you are visiting. We would suggest giving yourself an hour so that you are able to chat with our team members and other families. You are, of course, welcome to stay until the end!
What should I bring to the open day?
You don't need to bring anything specific, but it might be helpful to have a list of questions you want to ask. If you have any specific needs or concerns, feel free to bring any relevant documents or information.
Will there be an opportunity to meet the staff?
Yes, you will have the chance to meet and chat with our fabulous team of practitioners! They will be available to discuss our curriculum, daily activities, and how they support each child’s individual needs.
Why is the Open Day held on a Saturday when the Nursery is closed?
We tend to hold our Open Day events on a Saturday, so that we can be inclusive of working families who are unable to make mid-week visits during our regular opening hours. We understand that this isn’t quite the same as seeing the nursery ‘in action’ so to speak, which is why we invite all of our current families along on the day for a ‘Family Fun Day’. This gives you a chance to meet with other Kindred parents and carers, to ask them questions and to see the bonds our team of practitioners have made with the little ones.
Do I have to book?
Yes please! You can book a slot for your 1:1 tour by clicking the button below and selecting your chosen Kindred location.
How do I apply for a place for my child?
After attending the open day, you can apply for a place by filling out our registration form, which will be provided to you at the nursery. Our friendly management team will guide you through the process and provide any additional information you need.
